Day one of the Republican Convention can be described in one word, powerful. The speeches
of McCain and Giuliani were energetic and have set the stage for what will be a great Convention.
Although both speeches shed light on the President and his strength through times of struggle,
Rudy Giuliani's speech, in my opinion, spent too much time attacking Senator Kerry. Despite the truth in all his comments,I
feel that the attacks gave the Kerry campaign reason to criticize the Bush Administration. The Democrats stayed away
from negative attacks on the President during their Convention and Id like to see the Republicans follow suit.
The next 3 days should be exciting, motivating and again, powerful.
