non-partisan... yeah okay!

Let me begin by saying that I have much respect for those at the CIA and FBI.  The great people of those two institutions provide a service that this country cannot go without.

Im not blaming anyone in the U.S. for the attacks of 9-11.  I blame Al Qaeda, after all it was they who attacked us.  However, I do believe it is a good idea to have a commission thats main goal is to determine the root cause (had to throw that term in for the leftists) of the major intelligence failure that allowed those horrific attacks to take place.

If you ask me, EVERY administration from Bush 41 to the present administration contributed to this failure, with most of the destruction coming from the Clinton-Gore administration.  After all, It was that administration that had the chance to arrest Osama Bin Laden as early as 1996.  However, Bill Clinton only seemed to focus on reducing the size of the military and severely crippling the abilities of the intelligence community.

Back to the subject, I don't think this commission is acting as a non-partisan group.  The questions being asked by some of the members are blatantly partisan, their intentions being nothing more than scoring political points.  I also think that having such hearings during an election year is very unfair to the current administration (which I must add, only had 8 months in office to do something about the coming attack, when the Clinton-Gore administration had 8 years to handle the situation).

Non-partisan commission?  I think not.  This commission can be summed up in two words: WITCH HUNT.

Of course, this is only my opinion, I could be wrong.
