One of the major issues in need of discussion in this country is abortion. Legal abortion goes
against the traditional values that this country was built on. Life is very precious, and therefore none of it should
be "wasted."
It is my belief that legal abortion only helps to encourage irresponsible actions. Teen pregnancy
has been- and will continue to be- a major problem in this country. So what if a teen has sex and gets pregnant,
she can have an aborition! This view is terribly irresponsible.
Abortion goes against God's plan. And that reason alone is enough for any sensible person
to oppose abortion. Are there certain situations in which abortion should be legal? I guess one could argue there
is. Such as in the case of a rape victim, or if the Mother's life is in danger.
Recently a law was passed making the murder of a pregnant woman count as two murders; one for
the Mother's life and one for the life of the fetus. If murdering a pregnant woman counts as two deaths due to the death
of the fetus, then how could anyone argue that abortion isn't murder? After all, you're taking a human life.
